FINLEY HOWARD

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cox and Earl Cox went to Mattoon, where they attended the funeral of Finley Howard who died Sunday night at Carey, Ohio. The deceased was superintendent of bridges on the Big Four and was for many years a resident of Darlington. He was a railroad operator here for a number of years, moving from here to Mattoon and later to Carey, where he died. The deceased leaves a widow and several children, one of his sons being with the American Army in France. -- kbz
